Otava RF Launches the OTFL1001: An X-Band Digitally Tunable Bandpass Filter Optimized for Advanced RF Systems
Otava RF has introduced the OTFL1001, a new X-band digitally tunable bandpass filter designed for advanced RF systems. The filter covers a frequency range of 8 to 12 GHz and offers low insertion loss, fast tuning speed, and high out-of-band rejection. With a compact form factor and wide tuning capability, the OTFL1001 is ideal for applications in defense, aerospace, and wireless communications. This launch underscores Otava RF’s commitment to delivering innovative, high-performance RF solutions.
IMS Technical Session Tu1C: Microwave Photonics Radars, Signal Generators, Radio-Over-Fiber Transmitters, and Integrated Circuits
Tuesday, June 17th, 8:00AM
Co-Chair: Jonathan Comeau
Location: 210
Abstract: This session discusses practical realizations of state- of-the-art microwave photonics systems and integrated circuits. The session begins with a multi-static, multi-band photonics MIMO radar. An ultra-low phase noise opto-electronic frequency synthesizer is covered next followed by a multi-channel microwave photonic transmitter for RoF applications. The session is concluded with two papers discussing integrated photonic circuits.

Experts in different wireless bands battle it out to discuss which frequency bands have the most promise. Which band will have the most jobs and investment in the coming years? Which will have the most interesting research? And what lessons have they learned about how to switch bands if they decide they want to try something new? We'll look at not just 5G and radar but up to THz and optical bands and down to lower frequency bands more relevant for biology and sensing.
