As a small and growing company, we concentrate on developing high-performance, wideband chips and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in RF and analog circuit design, combined with a passion for teamwork, problem-solving, and contributing to the company’s overall success and growth. Key Responsibilities:
Detailed circuit design of tunable filters, phase-shifters, low-noise amplifiers, switches, and fully integrated front-end modules, using advanced Silicon-on-Insulator CMOS fabrication processes.
Design and layout circuits with tools such as Cadence Virtuoso/ADE, Keysight ADS, Momentum, HFSS and electro-thermal simulation tools, ensuring timely project completion and alignment with project schedules. (Experience with all tools is not required; willingness to learn is key).
Organize and present clear technical results during design reviews, while troubleshooting and resolving issues by integrating circuit analysis with measurement data.
Work closely with Marketing and Design teams to define competitive product specifications and ensure technical feasibility.
Qualifications:
MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering (required)
Graduate school experience or 3+ years of industry experience in IC design, with a proven track record of leading teams and designs from concept to production release.
Experienced in Microwave, RF, or Analog integrated circuit design, including components like power amplifiers, LNAs, phase-shifters, variable gain amplifiers, switches, and voltage regulators, with the ability to apply critical thinking to design challenges.
Hands-on experience with various silicon or III-V processes, a solid understanding of circuit fundamentals.
Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso Schematic and Layout design flow.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
Strong team player mindset, driven to overcome design challenges, learn and succeed
U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder (required)
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB for automating tasks and improving efficiency.
Experience with SPI/I2C/I3C and custom digital interface design.
